Junior Varsity
Where most Raiders start.
Junior Varsity is the entry point to the program, and most players who reach Varsity started here. Plenty of them had never played organised football before.
Oak Park plays in the twelve-man junior varsity division, six league games and then the playoffs. It is not a development side in the sense of a quiet one: the Raiders have won the JV championship in 2010, 2012, 2017 — that one a 44–6 final against St Paul’s — and again in 2025, when they went 8–0 and beat Dakota 48–21.
